DO YOU MAKE CUSTOM ORDERS?

Yes! If you see a design on either my website or social media that you like, please get in touch with me to discuss. Or if you want to start from scratch we can create a piece just for you. Fill out this contact form and I will let you know if we can create it.

HOW DO I KNOW MY WRIST SIZE?

The size is the INSIDE circumference of the bracelet when it is closed, not the total length of it. 

How to measure your wrist:

STEP 1: Measure your wrist with a flexible tape measurement or a strip of paper where you would normally wear the bracelet. 

STEP 2: If you are using a plain strip of paper, mark your size with a pen or pencil then use a ruler to measure the length. That would be your wrist size.

STEP 3: To find your comfort bracelet size, just add your wrist size with the appropriate measurements below.

Snug Fit: Don't add, just use your wrist size

Comfort Fit: Add 1/4" to 1/2"

HOW DO I TAKE CARE OF MY JEWELRY? 

Tips and tricks to keep your jewelry looking beautiful:

• Do not sleep, swim or hot tub while wearing your pieces. 

• Warm water rinse or wipe off make-up and skin oils. Dry with soft cloth. 

• Avoid getting perfume, hairspray, lotions or other chemicals on your jewelry. Especially Sunscreen. 

• Store clean, dry jewelry in a ziplock/air-tight container with anti-tarnish pads.

WHAT IS GOLD VERMEIL?

Gold vermeil (pronounced Ver-May) is an overlay of gold on sterling silver. In order to be considered gold vermeil, the coating of gold must be at least 10 carat and 2.5 micrometers thick. Gold thickness is the biggest difference between vermeil and gold filled jewelry. Vermeil differs from gold plating in that the base metal in vermeil is sterling silver. Gold plating is generally used on top of base metals like brass. 

As with sterling, preventive care is important for maintaining your gold vermeil jewelry. Vermeil jewelry will tarnish like sterling silver because-well, it is sterling silver-and exposure to air is the primary culprit in tarnishing. Store the jewelry in an airtight container – either a jewelry box or a zip bag. You can also use 3M anti-tarnish strips in your jewelry box or bag. Do not swim in the ocean or pool with vermeil jewelry. See “How do I take care of my jewelry” in policies.

Some important notes for cleaning vermeil jewelry:

Use a soft bristled toothbrush and gentle dish soap to clean the vermeil jewelry under warm running water. Make sure you rinse well and wipe with a soft non-abrasive cloth to dry. Water residue can cause staining. Make sure the piece is fully dry before returning to storage.

WHAT IS GOLD-FILLED?

I offer the quality 14k gold-filled and rose gold-filled chain, beads, findings. Gold filled is not to be confused with gold plating. Gold filled contain 100 times more real gold than gold plated. It does not flake off, rub off or turn colors. Is very durable and tarnish resistant. Also can be worn by people with sensitive skin. It's an actual layer of gold-pressure bonded to another metal. It is not an alloy. It is a layered material constructed in two or three layers. The core metal is jewelers' brass. Gold filled jewelry is a beautiful and affordable alternative to solid gold.
